WHAT WAS THE MOTIVATION FOR THIS TRIP?
It started out by wanting to do something like the guys on Top Gear did in Vietnam. At that stage we never thought it could be personally possible to do anything like a 'Long way Round'. However, we came across the Horizons Unlimited (www.horizonsunlimited.com)
Realised life's too short to work all of your life in the hope you're still fit and healthy enough to do something like this when you retire - so stuff it - resign from work and just blinking do it now - we'll never regret going, even if we're paupers in our old age.
Where are we going? - roughly ...
So this is the rough plan and we'll keep on going until the money runs out or some force majeure makes us stop.
